Robert J. Copes Jr, 62 of Hurds Hill Rd passed away Sunday May 20, 2012 at Waterbury Hospital.
Robert was born in Waterbury November 12, 1949 son of Robert J. Copes Sr of Woodbury and the late Louise (LeMay) Copes. Robert lived in Woodbury for most of his life and graduated from Woodbury High School and Tufts University. He had been retired for many years and enjoyed music, reading and traveling.
Besides his father he leaves a sister Janet Dunbar and her husband Bill of Watertown, 2 nephews Bill Dunbar Jr and his wife Jana and Tim Dunbar and his wife Samantha, and 5 great nieces and nephews, Jyne, Sean, Tate, Nathaniel, and Zachary.
Funeral Services will be held Thursday May 24th at 10:30 am at Hickcox Funeral Home 195 Main St Watertown. Burial will follow in Mount Olivet Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 4:00-6:00pm and Thursday morning from 9:30 am until the time of the service.
